ABOUT ME

I have drawn and painted most of my life.
I studied at Winchester and Sheffield colleges of Art, graduating with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art (Painting) in 1978.
After leaving college I pursued a career in librarianship in public sector education and later management of wider support services in art and design education, ending my career at the Royal College of Art.
In 2013 I retired in order to spend more time painting and to pursue other interests.
Since 1980 I have lived and worked in London, apart from a period of 3 years living in Madrid in the early 1990s.
My work is primarily representational and my paintings and drawings are held in private collections in the UK and abroad.
In 2021 I became a member of the Highgate Watercolour Group.
